Kevin Homer has been elected President, Cheryl McGovern appointed Marketing Chair

On May 25, 2011, Kevin Homer was appointed as the new President of Greater Norristown Corporation. Kevin will assume the role as the Chief Operating Officer of the organization and continue working closely with Chairman Mark Chalphin. Kevin, the Director of Business Development at The Homer Group, has spent the last two years on the Executive Board, including the past year as the Marketing Chair. During this time, he was worked to establish the online presence of the organization, develop and strengthen relations within the community, and increase membership.

Assuming the newly-vacated role as Marketing Chair is Cheryl McGovern, who is the Marketing Manager for Barton Partners, a nationally-recognized architecture and planning firm in Norristown. Her extensive marketing and business development experience will be a great addition to the GNC Executive Board.
